Updated: 2:50 p.m. ELLENTON, FL — A missing Ellenton man was found safe Monday after going missing Sunday night, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said. Raymel Slaughter, 44, was last seen driving away from his home in the 4100 block of Little Gap Loop around Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Before leaving his home, he had been making threats to harm himself, the sheriff's office said. Anyone who has seen Slaughter or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the MCSO at 941-747-3011.
