PUYALLUP, WA — A family of five has lost its home after a house fire in Puyallup. Graham Fire & Rescue says Monday afternoon its crews were called to a burning house in the 18300 block of 85th Ave Ct E. Upon arriving, crews found a house fire that had started in the kitchen, but rapidly expanded to consume much more of the home. Fortunately, the five family members living inside the house all escaped unscathed, but firefighters say the home is uninhabitable. Firefighters say the incident is an important reminder on the value of having a home fire escape plan so everyone knows how to quickly evacuate in an emergency.
