WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man from Georgia is wanted by authorities in Prince William County after he was accused of breaking into a home and shooting an unoccupied car in Woodbridge on Sunday morning. Police identified the man as Armani Israel Shannon, a resident of Fairburn, Georgia. The Prince William County Police Department began an investigation when a victim, who is a family member of Shannon's, told authorities about an incident that occurred after an argument. The argument escalated as the two men returned to a residence in the 18400 block of Quantico Gateway Drive in Woodbridge. When the argument escalated, the victim told police that Shannon took out a gun and fired one round into the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied when it was shot, police said. Later, the victim traveled to a residence in the 16800 block of Capon Tree Lane in Woodbridge. The victim claimed that Shannon followed him there in a separate vehicle. In a police report, authorities said that Shannon kicked in the home's front door in an attempt to enter. The victim confronted him in the doorway, and stopped him from entering the residence, police said. The police reported claimed that Shannon was carrying a gun while he kicked in the door. Authorities said Shannon argued with the victim again before leaving the area. No injuries were reported in the shooting or the burglary. The Prince William County Police Department obtained warrants for Shannon's arrest after beginning their investigation on Sunday morning. However, officers have been unable to locate him. Shannon is charged with one count of burglary while armed and one count of reckless handling of a firearm. He is described as a Black man, about six feet tall, and weighing 175 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo on his left forearm, police said. A photo of Shannon was not available.
