We make 100% of our products right here in our factory in Washington State. Ries Tripod is seeking the right person for our machine shop. We are expanding and hiring additional people to meet the demand. No experience required. We will train anyone with the right motivation. Duties will require: • Operate and maintain wood working machines. • Operate and maintain CNC machines. • Operate and maintain 3D Printers. • Operate and maintain Lasers. • Apply coatings to our products using spray gun in a spray booth. • Manual machining of metals, wood and plastics. • Work as a team member, meeting professional standards of cooperation, communication and appearance. • Assemble final products from parts with accuracy and quality. • Make certain that all tasks are completed following the quality standards established for the product manufactured. • Regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC and Wood working Equipment. Requirements: • Strong communication skills to understand verbal and written instructions, communicate with other employees, follow directions and tasks lists. • Measurement skills, ability to measure, use measuring equipment and record data with accuracy. • Ability to quickly react to non-conforming operations as they occur. • Ability to produce parts within tolerances. • Must be able to read and understand product labeling, MSDS, safety requirements, safety brochures and product directions. • Ability to work full time, 8 hours a day, five or more days a week. Preferred experience, (NOT REQUIRED): • Woodworking experience in a wood shop setting up tools and fixtures and milling techniques. • Working knowledge in using hand held quality control inspection tools such as measuring tapes, micrometers and calipers. • Basic geometry and mathematics. Working knowledge of fractions and decimal inch measuring standards. • Some experience in interpreting drawings, parts lists and assembly drawings. • 3+ years of machine shop experience with at least 1 year of experience as a CNC Setup Machinist.
