Splash Pad To Open Thursday, Just In Time For Holiday Fireworks

EAST HAVEN, CT —The last time kids frolicked at the splash pad at Cosey Beach Park across from the East Haven Town Beach, was the summer of 2019. As Michelle Benivegna, East Haven's assistant director of administration and management, explained, the delayed reopening was "due to some needed repairs to the splash pad and the pavilion." She said that as it has not been operational since 2019, some parts needed to be replaced. Now, it's set to open Thursday. The hours are daily 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. "We are thrilled that it will be operational in time for our fireworks event this Saturday," Benivegna said. "We would like to thank everyone for their patience."
