With Summer 2021 here, masking restrictions lifted, and the world generally getting back to normal, it's no surprise that Denver residents are once again flocking to Vail in droves. Traveling from Denver to Vail for the weekend is more popular than ever, with 1000's of Denverites heading into the mountains to escape the latest heat wave and enjoy the majestic Alpine charm only Vail can offer. Getting from Denver to Vail is easy, just take I70 due West for about 97.1 miles (1hour: 42 mins) and you'll find yourself at Vail Village. While there are definitely a few sections of I70 that can be a little nerve racking, don't let that keep you from going into the mountains. Millions of people make the drive to Vail from Denver every year without any incident. Why do people travel from Denver to Vail? There are several options to consider here: If you have a car you could drive. Parking can be expensive (though no where as expensive as the Winter season). You could also take Greyhound bus. There are some shared shuttle companies, as well as the ride shares of course. A private car service provider might be the most convenient option as you wouldn't need to worry about parking or other people's schedules. The relatively short commute from Denver to Vail means there are plenty of easy options to make the journey. You just need to decide to go :)
