Press release from the Ankeny Community School District: May 19, 2021 Ankeny Community Schools is unified in its commitment, passion, and vision, so every learner is prepared to achieve a lifetime of personal success. This most certainly includes our students with identified disabilities. It is our obligation to provide entitled students Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The Iowa Administrative Rules of Special Education require each school district to develop a plan for the delivery of special education services. The content requirements of the District Developed Plan will be met through a set of five questions and a series of assurances.
