Millwood Shift Supervisor FULL-TIME $25/hr 5530 SR 6 West, Suite 1, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 Responsible for supervising all phases of jobs, assisting in daily work schedule, and auditing quality standards by performing the following duties. Duties and responsibilities include: 1. Trains new and full-time employees on plant functions including proper machine operation, quality inspection, housekeeping, production counts, and safety. 2. Assists in all quality control functions by inspecting pallets, operating test equipment, making quality control determinations, and performing other related duties. 3. Develops and implements quality control training in quality control requirements and expectations for all employees. 4. Maintains quality control work areas in a clean and orderly manner. 5. Cleans equipment and machinery as assigned. 6. Resolves problems and related production difficulties in an efficient and timely manner. 7. Directs all production activities to complete the job as needed. 8. Offers assistance and instruction to employees as needed. 9. Reports and documents emergency situations to management immediately. 10. Oversees production rate to ensure schedules are adhered to. 11. Delegates job duties and ensures employees are completing jobs properly. 12. Applies knowledge of operations to detect unsafe working conditions and low employee performance and reports such circumstances to management. 13. Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 15 - 20 non-supervisory employees in the Production, Shipping, and Quality Control Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
