Ready Care Industries is hiring for: Shipping/Order puller We are looking for motivated, reliable and energetic employees. Must have reliable transportation. Summary Perform all tasks involved in the shipping of Company products. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure shipping and receiving is as efficient and safe as possible. Primary duties and responsibilities: • Ability to perform but not limited to the following tasks, be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips. • The Order Puller will be responsible pulling necessary items to fill the orders to be loaded onto the trucks each night. • The Order Puller will be required to safely operate material handling equipment such as a forklift and pallet jack. • The Order Puller position requires a basic understanding of the general math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must have the ability to read and write clearly in the English language. • Must be willing to work overtime as needed to complete the required tasks for each day. • The Order Puller will be required to manually lift heavy boxes of stock from shelve • Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. • Lift up to 50 lbs., consistently • Standing for extended periods of time • Working in a non-climate controlled warehouse. • Forklift experience and a forklift certification is preferred but not required. Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge: Prior shipping and receiving experience. Forklift certified a plus. Physical environment/working conditions: The position is in the warehouse and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. Schedule: $14.00 per hour, Monday through Friday 8:30A-5:00P, Overtime as needed. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision available after 60 days.
