WEST CHESTER, PA — In the early morning hours of July 21, West Chester Borough Police took a man with no home address into custody after they said he gave them false identification and had methamphetamine in his possession.
Around 12:45 a.m. Monday, West Chester Police reported they stopped a man for suspicious behavior in the 200 block of Woodbine Alley.
David Groff, 27, provided false identification to officers, the police report said. Groff was reported as homeless.
Police allege Groff was also found in possession of a substance they suspected was methamphetamine. He is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, a felony, and with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and False Identification To a Law Enforcement Officer.
Groff was transported to the Chester County Prison where he was arraigned, according to a police report.
