WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — Two large boxes marked "Bird Air" were walked out of Target on Sunday in a cart pushed by a shoplifting suspect, according to West Whiteland Township Police.
The West Whiteland Township Police Department is investigating an alleged $1,278 theft from a Target store in the township on June 20.
Surveillance photos of a suspect show a man leaving the store with two large boxes in a shopping cart just after 5 p.m. Sunday. The boxes say "Bird Air," a brand of electric scooter that Target's website shows the retailer sells for $499 each. Police did not confirm the contents of the boxes.
The photo shows a person wearing a black mask and white cap.
Another surveillance photo shows a suspect's vehicle, a silver Subaru four-door hatchback.
