Description
My name is Jack Kelly, and I am a math teacher in Council Rock School District. I have been a classroom teacher for 8 years, and I recognize that math class can cause high levels of frustration and anxiety. With this in mind, I try to help increase self-confidence and improve problem solving skills. My goal is to help students understand the “why” in math as well as showing them where it is applicable in the real world and what skills they are developing when they learn a given topic. If your son/daughter is in need of extra help this summer, a review of misunderstood concepts from last year, or help preparing for their class next year, I would love the opportunity to help.
This summer, all tutoring will be available in a virtual or in-person format. For online students, students will have an online portfolio, and I will work with students via Google Meet/Zoom using multiple classroom technologies to optimize student learning. Affordable rates vary depending on the class being taught. Small group sessions are available.
