Boat part removal and boat demolition HELPFUL : Previous experience working on or around boats and interest in learning. MUST: Experience with sawzall, grinder, and assorted power tools Sometimes required to work on boat in water, must be steady on your feet and a steady hand. MUST be able to climb a ladder. MUST be able to carry heavy parts,ex battery, rudder. MUST be able to show up to work on time. Start/stop time varies. MUST have form of reliable transportation MUST be able to follow directions carefully! We have specific ways of cutting parts out that if directions are not followed, valuable boat parts become scrap metal and valuable body parts become dismembered. REALITY WARNING Most work is performed at a boat yard in water or dry land 8' up. This is very physical work, we work at a steady pace, drink lots of water, take short breaks ever couple of hours, lunch break for an hour. This is hard, hot, work in the Florida sun! So, if we haven't scared you yet..... Typical day starts around 8 or 9am and sometimes go until dark (depending upon workload) Several days a week, you get paid when job is complete, typically 4-5 days per boat. WHAT YOU NEED: You need to bring your own dust mask, safety goggles, gloves, long-sleeved shirts (we are working with fiberglass), long pants and work boots. Flip flops need not apply. Pay is dependent upon skill set. a non experience $10/ hr for first week or less= you either get it or not skilled with tools but needs to learn the boat demo side $12 for three days, $14 if you learn skilled with tools and half knows what we are doing with little instruction $15 skilled with tools and can listen to plan and proceed independently $20 Call Tim at seven 2 seven for O three nine nine OO. 8 am to 8 pm
