RICHMOND, CA — Three people were killed and five others wounded Sunday night in a mass shooting in Richmond, police said. One of the gunshot victims was in critical condition as of Monday morning, Richmond police Lt. Matt Stonebraker said. All eight victims were men aged 18 to 44, Stonebraker said. Police have not identified any suspects and have not established a motive for the shooting, Stonebraker said. Police are seeking at least two suspects in connection with the shooting, The Mercury News reported. The shooting was reported shortly before 11 p.m. at a house party in the 2100 block of Dunn Avenue with about 80 to 100 attendees, Stonebraker said. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, Stonebraker said. "The shooting appears to have been targeted and isolated to this gathering however, the motive is unknown at this time. This incident is an active and ongoing investigation," police said in a news release. The shooting occurred at a Marimba party, a Guatemalan Father's Day celebration with live music, a relative of one of the victims told ABC 7. The victim, a nephew of one of the three people killed in the attack, told the TV outlet that his uncle sold fruit around the Bay Area.
