CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — The Coventry PEACE Design Jam will be held Sunday in Cleveland Heights. From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can voice their opinions on the future of Coventry PEACE Park. The Design Jam features five interactive stations where community members can engage in activities that will help the Heights Libraries determine what the community wants from the space. The five stations are: Predict Your Park: Take an interactive surveyShare a Story: Share your park memoriesMark the Map: Show us your favorite placesFind Your Favorites: Rate our ideasPicture a Park: Kids can create their dream parkIf there's rain on Sunday, the interactive stations will be moved inside the Coventry Library branch. Refreshments will be served. The Heights Libraries recently contracted with landscape architects Andrew Sargeant and Jim McKnight, for $9,000 each, to prepare sketches and develop an overall plan for the park, including cost estimates. They will also be gathering public input about the park during three separate public events. "Our PEACE Park is popular, and well loved, so we're hoping we get plenty of input from our community so we can improve it and make it an even better public asset for all," said Heights Libraries Director Nancy Levin.
