CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police advised area drivers to avoid Statesville Road north of Sam Furr Road, at Mayes Road Tuesday morning after a tractor trailer got stuck in the intersection. The stuck truck caused traffic delays, Cornelius Police Department said, adding "Please avoid the area and watch for officers directing traffic."
