WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man is facing federal drug charges after he sold thousands of fake Adderall pills to undercover police, according to federal prosecutors.
The 20-year-old has been charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, which is one of the drugs he used to make the fake pills. Prosecutors said he also mixed in cocaine and fentanyl.
The undercover drug buys happened over several months, including one instance in May where the man sold about 1,000 pills. After searching the man's home, police recovered about 50,000 fake Adderall pills, three guns and a kilogram of cocaine.
Federal prosecutors said he could face up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
