JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Greenhouse employees are responsible for planting, growing and harvesting cannabis. JOB DUTIES • Prepare bays for planting, empty pot with soil, fill with clean soil, and place plants in 1-gallon plots in each bay. • Maintain the crop defoliating, establishing • Irrigation control and plant handling • Add trellis network to each bay • Remove the trellis • Cutting the plant and placing them in bags • Transport the containers to the weight station • Create packages from plants and hang on carts • Transport carts to dry rooms, then hang packages in dry room configuration • Use required PPE per OSHA regulations • Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS • Must be 21+ years old • Flexible availability for work hours • Ability to maintain a positive attitude OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES • Able to work independently and in a team environment • This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week • Willingness to work weekends and holidays if situation calls for it MENTAL/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to work in conditions typically found in a greenhouse with high humidity and varying temperatures, with a fair amount of moisture present • Ability to exert up to 15-50 pounds occasionally in order to lift and move product • Ability to balance, reach grasp while climbing on a step stool and/ or ladder • Ability to crouch, grasp and lift product above shoulders in order to lift product from the floor properly • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time as job duties require • Ability to use the tools necessary to perform works tasks EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • At least 1-2 years of experience in greenhouse environment IF INTERESTED, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS POST AND/OR SUBMIT YOUR RESUME
