Removing & Installing a new Shower Faucet Set

I'm in need of a handyman who can help me fix my shower! The bathroom has a broken shower faucet set. I've already bought a replacement. This job will require swapping out shower faucet sets. The current set is damaged. I have been unable to remove it, as I cannot get the hex nut out of the handle. I even attempted to get creative, cutting through the handle with a Dremmel to expose the hex bolt in the hopes of spinning it out from the side. But no luck.
