Looking for a self motivated, reliable, confident mechanic/welder to become a long term member of a family based construction company in Sidney Maine. Immediate opening-looking to fill position as soon as possible. Valid drivers license required. Most of our work is within a 50 mile radius of our office. Must be willing to perform manual labor and lift 50-80 lbs. Qualifications: Strong work ethic Able to work in a group or motivated when working alone Must have a clean driving record Must be willing to perform manual labor and lift 50-80 lbs Responsibilities include but not limited to repairing, welding and servicing equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders and heavy/medium duty trucks. Repair, rebuild and fabricate components of various types of equipment both in the shop and field. Must have a general working knowledge of metallurgy and the effects of cutting, bending, shaping and welding of all metals. Overtime a must. Earned Benefit Time Employee Benefits Paid Holidays
