Lumen Brands is an E-Commerce company that is in need of full-time help for managing, receiving, packing, and shipping orders. We are a kind, courteous group of people, who work hard and stay in good spirits while doing so. We sell packaged food online, and you may find more about us at www.lumenbrands.co We are looking for someone to fill a full-time general labor position for between 35-50 hours per week at $20-25/hr to start. We require a minimum of 35 hours per week but there is opportunity for more for the right person. The job will start as a 1099 contract position for the first months as a trial, and then an of full-time employment is on the table if you are a good fit! Also there is potential for a supervisory role in the near future as our company continues to grow. We operate during normal warehouse hours (8AM - 5PM, M-F). All scheduling will be done ahead of time, and we are looking for someone who is reliable and comes to work when scheduled, and on time. During holidays and busy times we may need you to work outside of normal business hours, but will schedule in advance. Responsibilities: - understanding warehouse management systems (we will train) - packing and unpacking shipments - managing kitting, assembly, bundling other co-workers - labeling items for sale - inventory counts - communicating over email with rest of team Qualifications: - prior experience with warehouse management software - able to create processes in warehouse and best practices - very comfortable using a computer - ability to lift up to a 35 lb box - being on your feet several hours a day (there is also a desk) - communicating effectively over email - task management software (we will train) - being detail oriented - a social security number or work visa You will be required to fill out paperwork, and we may perform an expedited background check - but having something on your background check does not mean we won't consider you.  We welcome all applicants, and do not discriminate.
