We are sadly needing to rehome our sweet domestic blue point short-haired cat. He is neutered, and current on shots with no medical issues. We adopted him from Anchorage Animal Control back in 2018. He was neutered in 2015 so he's 6-7 years old. He is a mellow guy who is very good with dogs, shy but loves people and having his ears scritched. He does not spray or mark, but he has developed the unfortunate habit of sometimes peeing adjacent to the litter box. We've tried different litter and boxes but haven't found a solution. I believe a change of settings could be good for him, maybe other cats or a home with space for more than one litter box. He would come with food, a soft carrier, and any toys we have. I'm asking for a $40 rehoming fee because of the recommendations from PETA/AALAS. He is on the waitlist for surrender to the Humane Society.
