We are currently seeking an ELECTRICAL HELPER to assist our team of electricians for the 2021 Summer Construction Season. Electrical Helper duties will include general labor duties related to electrical construction as directed by the Journeyman / Foreman / Supervisor. GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION General labor /electrical helper / material handler duties within allowable licensing requirements, including assistance with electrical construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, placement, layout or removal of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment as directed by Field personnel. Work occurs both indoors, and outdoors in any weather condition. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education. Knowledgeable of safety practices and procedures. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver’s license according to legal requirements. Basic mechanical ability and ability and experience using hand and power tools. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS. Receive, Deliver, and layout parts, tools, stock, and other materials to and from storage and shop areas, vendors, jobsites, by hand or using trucks, vans, trailers, and other equipment. Transport needed tools and supplies from shop, vendors, warehouse to jobsites, trucks, etc. Keep track, and retrieve / return them after use. Prefabricate Assemblies, Kit, Box, and Label Material as directed. Clean Up of all kinds. Deal with vendors in a professional manner. Climb into and out of equipment. Climb Ladders. Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools. Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery. Working in congested or remote areas, indoors, outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to take direction from several individuals. This position is required to drive. Other duties as assigned. -Pay $16.05 - $24.41 DOE -Footwear Allowance after probationary period. -Company Provided work-related apparel.
