Shifts can start as early as 5:30 AM for morning shift. Evening shift can start at 4 PM or later. There are full weekly shifts and daily shifts. In order to be selected for Daily shifts you must show to you are reliable when needed, to be placed on Weekly shifts. Daily Shift can be a same day call in. Example: Superintendent can call and ask for flaggers as early as 5 AM, Mon-Fri. You would need to be available /on call and ready to go when called upon for the position. You must be able to commit to having a flexible schedule and available to work as needed, being a certified flagger. Also, you must be able to travel anywhere between Virginia to New Jersey to Pennsylvania. Pay for current flagging jobs is $15/hr. to $21 hr. depending on experience. Additional bonus of $250 up to 500 after 60 days of labor if qualify. Daily working hours can range between 8 - 12 hr. shifts but sometimes can be less if project is done in time for that day.
