OptoGlo is a venture-backed startup that manufactures solar signs powered by a patent protected embedded illumination technology. We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Foreman to lead shipping and receiving activities and transport parts between production areas. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Operate motorized fork truck to move material throughout facilities • Drive delivery van between sites. Load and unload material • Set up assembly stations prior to the start of the shift • Pick up finished product from the final assembly area and transport to shipping. Package and prepare shipping labels • Receive materials, unpack incoming items, and check goods received against purchase order or invoice • Work with vendors to ensure timely inbound and outbound deliveries • Clean and organize the shipping & receiving and printing areas • Follow all established safety rules and regulations and utilize required safety equipment • Work independently as well as with a team Qualifications: • A valid Class B License in MA with a clean driving record free of violations • A valid fork truck license in MA. Experience driving a fork truck • Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs. repeatedly • Basic understanding of warehousing, inventory control, shipping/receiving and general logistics fundamentals • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
