Shift: 7 pm - 7 Compensation: $14 hourly Position: In this position, you will be responsible for general duties involving: The Machine Operator has the responsibility to successfully complete the position training program. The Machine Operator I has the authority to shut down production equipment to prevent the production of the defective products. Has the authority to place Non-Conforming Product on Hold. Other duties may be assigned. The employee works from a production schedule provided by the Production Supervisor. Randomly checks product produced every half hour, to ensure the customer specifications are met. Monitors flow of product into processing machinery. Tends machines, such as palletizers, Strappers, Airveyors, Leak detectors, and Bottle unscramblers, to maintain product flow. Works at different workstations as production needs require. Works on lines where tasks vary, as products of various shapes and sizes, move along lines. Check finished product for possible defects, and has the authority to hold any suspect materials. Wears all required personal protective equipment. Maintains housekeeping of work areas. Qualifications: No prior experience needed. Will be trained.
