This very sweet, friendly, imprinted domestic duck was abandoned in Whiting Park today. I assume because she got too big and messy for the kids in the family after buying her for Easter. I think it's very young, it still has some down on its belly. I brought it home because it would simply not survive in the wild at all. The duck is imprinted to humans, docile, and loves to be petted. It does not fly, and It seems afraid to swim, I don't think it has ever had the opportunity. I am looking for someone with outdoor space and some other ducks to keep this one company and let her live as a domestic duck is supposed to. No rehome fee if you can provide that. If you can adopt this guy, please let me know ASAP by email or text.
