Maintenance Technician Locally owned and well-established property management company seeking a values-aligned Maintenance Technician to respond to a range of work requests throughout the Portland metro area. Working collaboratively with our company scheduler, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for traveling between properties for maintenance calls and purchasing materials as needed to complete each job order and/or project. Work type includes basic painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, etc., servicing a variety of housing types. The ideal candidate for this role is organized, proactive, customer focused, and a team contributor. Success in this role depends heavily on excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering on-schedule services. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and excellent benefits. This includes Kaiser health coverage (50% paid for team member), 401k retirement plan with 3% matching contribution, annual cash performance bonus, (7.5) paid holidays per year, and paid vacation/sick time. Cell phone, iPad, and fuel card for work use also provided. Qualifications As a part of our team, the most important qualifications are shared values, a customer-centric approach, and strong work ethic. You would be a great fit for this position if you have: • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the property management industry (multifamily, single-family, condos, etc.) • Valid driver’s license, registered work vehicle, and proof of auto insurance required • Basic skills and working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems • Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools • Proven customer service skills • Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills and flexibility • Highly efficient time management skills, with flexibility to prioritize workload in response to shifting demands • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work autonomously • Team member must have their own construction tools To apply, please respond with resume.
