We are looking for a Cleaning Specialist to oversee and run the day-to-day functions of our boutique wellness facility. The goal is to keep our studio immaculate and in pristine condition at all times.
Responsibilities / Duties (including but not limited to):
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Gym cleaning, including cleaning of exercise equipment, floors and mirrors
- Common area cleaning, including front desk, lockers, retail shelves, office and hallways
- Bathroom and changing room cleaning
- Reports to Front Desk/Managerial staff
- Reports any questions, issues, etc to Front Desk/Managerial staff
Requirements:
- Excellent cleaning skills - Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
- Ability to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
- Knowledge of what cleaning supplies can be used on which materials
- Detail oriented and thorough
- Ability to take direction well
- Friendly, personable & must have a great attitude
- Excellent organizational skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time
- Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 30lbs
