Global Fashions is a Wholesale Clothing/ Accessories Warehouse Located in Long Island, New York. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include: Managing the day-to-day performance and progress. Manages activities of associates in warehouse departments including, but not limited to, receiving, stocking, retrieving, VAS, packing, processing and shipping of finished goods. Determine work procedures, review schedules and expedite workflow through the efficient usage, training/cross- training and development of regular and temporary labor. Respond to production problems and implement solutions as necessary. Maintain associate timekeeping records and compete performance reviews in partnership with human resources. Support Director of Distribution with a variety of operational tasks. Responsible to make sure all orders are pulled by the team. Distribution Operations- Communicates production information as well as associate issues and or concerns. Motivate, coach, counsel associates and encourage teamwork. Interact with subordinates, peers and upper management to achieve business goals. Interacts with all levels of management. Maintains department tools, material supply inventories and a clean, safe, secure and efficient operation. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Handles multiple projects and meets deadlines. Qualifications Ideal Candidate should have: Strong leadership skills and demonstrate the ability to develop a strong team. Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills. Good decision making skills. Resolves issues effectively and efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills. Minimum of five years of warehouse supervisory experience. Knowledge of warehouse operations. Computer knowledge including, but not limited to, MS Office/ Excel. Operate UPS and FEDEX system for routing etc
