RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Window Repair Mechanic, you will work primarily at customer facilities. You will need to work well independently, and with others, as you will be part of a window repair crew on all projects. You will have a variety of responsibilities associated with the repair of commercial windows, including:
Removal of ineffective or failed window hardware or glass
Installation of state-of-the-art and/or customized window hardware
Customer interactions as needed
Inventory of parts and materials
Driving company vans to and from customer facilities
Approximately 10 - 20% travel
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior work or life experience demonstrating the following skills and abilities is necessary:
Mechanical aptitude
Manual dexterity and coordination
Sound judgment
Ability to quickly learn new ideas, processes and tasks
Communication, social and personal skills necessary for effective customer interaction
Basic math skills
The physical strength required for some lifting
The ability to work well both independently and with others
Basic computer skills (emailing, attaching pics, etc)
Excel skills a plus but not required
A valid driver's license and good driving record

COMPENSATION:
Starting Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Performance and associated compensation review at 90 days.
