Property Management Company is looking for a qualified applicant to serve as Maintenance Assistant for the management of 30+ rental units in the Little Havana area. Volman Real Estate Investments LLC is a property manangement company dedicated to renting affordable housing in the Miami area for the last 17 years. VREI is consistent in delivering quality maintenance for tenants residing in one of their buildings located in Miami Dade and Broward counties. Duties: Typical Maintenance Assistant duties include overseeing 4 properties in the Little Havana area as part of a property maintenance team of people. Maintenance Assistant well-maintained, free of trash, there is no loitering at the properties, the overall preparation of vacant apartments "make ready" so they are in great condition to be re-rented, or help a current tenant with a minor repair in their apartmen. Specific duties include painting, cleaning, basic home owner electrical, basic home owner plumbing and assisting the property handyman as an extra hand with larger jobs when needed. Property where work is located each day is in Little Havana Miami. However there is an occasional time this employee would need to to other job sites for an all-day job with the wider team of Handyman technicians. Qualifications: - Reliable Transportation is a requirement! Your own vehicle. If you own a truck to haul materials this is a plus. - Dependable, honest, hardworking and on time. - Relevant Experience a plus but NOT a requirement. Compensation: Salary: $12/hour (with opportunity to increase) Hours: 9-5pm Monday through Friday. Full time - 40 hours a week guaranteed.
