Battalion Studios in Gowanus, Bk is hiring a part-time Studio Assistant. Battalion is a professional music rehearsal space which offers 11 rooms for hourly reservation 7 days a week. A new studio assistant is needed for upcoming open shifts of mostly evening & weekend coverage as we look to expand our hours. Must have a general knowledge of PA equipment, guitar amplifiers, keyboards, signal flow, drums, etc, & have strong customer service skills. Gigging or teaching musicians &/or audio engineers make a great fit for this job. Basic job requirements are... -Reception: answering phone/email, face-to-face interaction to assist our customers -Gear: providing customer assistance with gear issues, troubleshooting problems, resetting equipment between/after sessions -Cleaning/Maintenance: vacuuming & cleaning of studios, cleaning bathrooms, regular building maintenance If you'd like more details on this position or think you'd be a good fit as our new Studio Assistant, please reply with a copy of your resume or list of pertinent experience to setup an interview with our manager.
