Cooks & Kitchen Jobs (all skill levels) (New Haven) 15.00-16.00/hr (35-40 hrs week) Produce diverse appetizers for today’s food-service industry. Your customer base will be chef's at restaurants, hotels, clubs & other upscale dining establishments. Must have ability to work in a dynamic team environment, multitask, communicate well and have skills which grow through experience. If you love the food industry but not the typical restaurant grind, this may be for you! These are not exhausting restaurant hours. The day starts early and end early. Skills and Qualifications: -Candidate MUST have at least 6 months Line Chef/Cook/Prep experience. - Serve-Safe certified (or have basic food safety knowledge). -MUST possess ability to follow a standardized recipe and follow verbal instruction. -Must be dependable, day-time availability and own transportation. -Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits: -We are typically a Monday-Friday daytime operation (7am-3pm). There may be opportunity for night and weekend hours per need. -Very Competitive pay rate ranging upon skill from 15.00 and up with room to grow. -This role will have career progression opportunities.
