Join master storyteller Heidi White as she guides participants in an immersive storytelling experience of classical antiquity Perhaps no ancient culture has so deeply influenced the Western world as the Greeks. From the Iliad to Percy Jackson, the drama and grandeur of Greek mythology is enduringly enchanting to the Western imagination. Join us on Saturday, July 17 for a Greek Mythology themed Storytelling Night, presented by the Anselm Society. Master Storyteller and classical educator Heidi White will share an old story that continues to forge links between the ancient and the modern world. Come prepared to participate in an immersive storytelling experience of classical antiquity through listening, discussion, and play. This event is a limited-seat finger food potluck. Participants should bring along a treat to share (Greek themed if you like!) and be ready to engage in fun, food, listening, discussion, and storytelling games. Founded in 2013, the Anselm Society's goal is a renaissance of the Christian imagination. The Society is a Colorado Springs-based initiative that seeks to understand and spread the magnificence of God through His presence in the good, the true, and the beautiful.
