NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati is hosting an annual celebration to kick off Bebe Moore Campbell Minority Mental Health Month. July is Bebe Moore Campbell Minority Mental Health Awareness month. In honor of Bebe Moore Campbell, to kick off the month of July, NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati Network on Mental Illness is holding our annual celebration. We know that 1 in 5 people, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) lives with a serious mental illness. Over the past 16 months, Covid has exacerbated this health problem. Our NAMI provides information, education, support, and advocacy to help families and communities to address these issues. National Alliance on Mental Illness UGCNOMI is dedicated to providing education, community outreach, support, referral, and advocacy to people whose lives are impacted by serious mental illness. To improve the lives of family members, friends, persons living with mental illness, and our Urban Communities through our efforts.
