This amazing evening will unite two of Lenexa’s culinary gems: the Lenexa Farmers Market & the Lenexa Public Market. This amazing evening will unite two of Lenexa’s culinary gems. Lenexa Farmers Market vendors will supply the ingredients, and Lenexa Public Market merchants will prepare those ingredients in a special one-night-only menu! Each merchant will serve one course, from appetizer to dessert. Guests with pre-purchased tickets will eat their way through the Market at their leisure, enjoying great food and music. To accommodate COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, we will sell by table, stagger dine-in times and offer carryout options. Those dining in will be socially distanced from other guests. Guests will have the option to purchase bar seating for one or table for two or four people — indoors or outdoors. Carryout diners will select a time to pick up their four-course meal to enjoy at home. APPETIZER Smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, caramelized onions flatbread with apricot jam. Made by Topp'd Pizza + Salads. *Vegetarian option is available without the bacon. Indicate your preference during checkout. SALAD Fresh tomato salad with arugula, fresh mozzarella, fried dough balls, balsamic drizzle and a light lemon dressing. Made by Butterfield's Bakery & Market. MAIN COURSE Choose one: Calabacitas made by Red Kitchen: A delicious medley of the summer bounty made with fresh corn, green zucchini, tomatoes and pork, simmered to perfection and served with cheese and corn tortillas.Eggplant and Potato Curry made by Sohaila's Kitchen: Vegetarian curry made with fresh local eggplant and stewed to sublimity with Sohaila's special spices and served over rice.Barbeque Chicken by African Dream Cuisine.DESSERT Choose one: Jo Ann Butterfield's Carrot Cake made by Butterfield's Bakery & Market: Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
