Willow Canyon Properties is a commercial and residential management company that services Central Oregon, primarily Jefferson County. We are looking for independent contractors (self employed individuals) to contract for Contractor, Handyman, and Janitorial duties. Ideal candidates: Can problem solve Have an eye for details Perform in a fast-paced environment Respond to service calls in a timely fashion and demonstrate a courteous, and professional attitude dealing with residents. Contractors with CCB#: $50- $60/ hr rate Handyman: $30- $40/ hr rate Examples of work to be performed: • Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs • Very wide work role from minor electrical, plumbing, and general "around the house" repairs, as well as heating system, and minor carpentry. • Handle small to medium sized projects from drywall repair, and ceiling fan installations to bathroom remodels, deck building and repairs. Basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills are required. • Replace and repair light bulbs, ballasts, light fixtures, light switches and receptacles. Janitorial: $20- $25/ hr rate Example of work to be performed: • Cleaning vacant units • Clean windows inside and out and blinds • Mop and vacuum floors • Clean inside and out of appliances, fans, cabinets • Clean and sanitize bathrooms Requirements for all candidates: • Must be able to pass a background check • Must have your own general liability insurance policy • Must have a business license to operate in the City of Madras
