Thermal Panel Technician Full Time Work Fisher Construction Group is seeking workers with skills in carpentry to join our thermal division, which installs insulated metal panels on buildings we construct. Thermal Panel Technicians’ duties include the following: • Load and unload equipment. • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging. • Level ground for scaffolding. • Prepare tools and materials. • Bolts, nails, or aligns materials. • Measure and cut panels to size for installation. • Lift, unload, move, materials at job site. • Drill through metal track and concrete to anchor track. • Assist in setting 30-60' panels by directing crane (Octopus) operator. • Operate forklift to move panels and equipment/supplies around job site. • Perform general cleanup and clearing debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading. • Touch up damaged panels with paint. • Work is performed with other workers as a team. • Other duties may be assigned. Physical Demands: Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing are all required on a constant basis. Lifting of objects up to 20 pounds is frequent, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. There is frequent pushing, pulling, and dragging of objects. Employees will be asked to travel to distant jobsites with expenses paid. Qualifications: There are no educational requirements for the position; however, the ability to use basic hand and power tools is required. Pay and Benefits: Pay will depend upon experience but ranges from $18 to $20 per hour for trainees and can reach up to $30 per hour for fully trained employees. A full benefit package including paid holidays and vacation, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance is provided. In addition, we provide a profit-sharing plan and a 401K plan with an employer match.
