Closing Night of the 2020 Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival, showcasing three (3) short films and one (1) feature.
FEATURE SYNOPSIS: Beginning at the 2017 Women’s March in Washington, DC, the film follows six diverse Americans as they fight for social justice on the streets and in the halls of power. Over the course of two years, we watch as they work to protect our rights and inspire others to join this peaceful and historic movement. Through their eyes, we experience the reality of Trump’s America. And through their actions, we witness the strength and courage of ordinary Americans during this extraordinary time. Resisterhood was produced, directed, filmed and edited by women.

PLEASE NOTE: Session runs from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Shorts program begins at 7:00 PM, followed by a brief intermission, and concludes with the feature film, Resisterhood. General admission tickets provide entry to all films in the session.
Blue Whiskey Independent Film Festival (BWiFF) is a not-for-profit organization based in the greater Chicagoland area. The festival seeks out bold and innovative filmmakers that utilize story elements in a new and exciting way, presenting character-driven independent cinema that is fueled by the filmmaker's passion for the art without large studio support.
