Description

If school was a struggle for your child this past year, this free event will give you the strategies to make next school year a success! About this event [IMPORTANT] This is an in-person workshop and seating is limited Thank you for visiting to spend a quick moment to learn more. We’re so glad you’re here. We know it is quite likely that your child has faced extreme and challenging situations throughout last school year and possibly years previous too. This is obviously straining on not only the child but the parents too! We understand the frustration, the questions, and need for real help because we focus on helping kids struggling in school. We know all this because there are typically three types of people who visit this event page. If you fit into one of these three categories, this class was created entirely with you in mind. *Parents who have a child struggling with focus, concentration, behavior, reading comprehension, keeping up with homework, inability to sit still and focus on the task at hand, hyperactivity, neurodevelopmental, learning, and socialization challenges. Your child may or may not already have a diagnosis but not matter the case, we know you can increase their function and ability to have a more pleasant time with school. If you know your child is smart but they’re just getting by in school – this workshop is for you! *Educators, Teachers, and Child Care professionals looking for tips and strategies to best help and understand children in their classes and under their care. We love when you show up and you take the initiative to better serve your students! *Providers. Our talks are regularly attended by occupational therapists, nutritionists, ABA therapists, medical doctors, speech and language pathologists, physical therapists and many others looking to expand their knowledge in this area. Based upon the extremely positive feedback from those who have attended these classes, we know this information is transformational for parents and families. We also know it has been extremely valuable for the teachers and providers looking to learn new approaches and perspectives to help children with these challenges. Regardless of where you fit in, we can’t wait to meet you and help guide you on this often difficult, confusing and frustrating journey. School is essentially a child’s job until the age of 18 (and possibly longer). It is my passion to make school as much of a pleasant and enjoyable experience for kids as possible.
