Job Title: Field Supervisor Location: Fort Myers Area Level/Salary Range: Starting $15/hr + tips, bonus, incentives Position Type: Full time Training: Training is required and will be provided Job Description Role and Responsibilities Assist Operations Manager &/or Franchise Owner with all aspects of operations, marketing & business development, filling in as back-up when needed Dispatch and track trucks on a daily basis, assuring Luggers are presentable and appropriately outfitted for the day Collaborate with the Call Center as needed Drive a safety culture and discipline team members as per company policy when needed Drive profitability through thoughtful planning and efficient execution of jobs Drive customer service with timely and professional responsiveness, particularly to negative feedback Lead new hire training for subordinate roles & assist with hiring, discipline and firing of employees Assist in paperwork, reporting & data reconciliation Ensure trucks & equipment are accounted for and in good working condition Fill in for subordinate jobs when needed & complete all jobs according to company standards, practices and mission statement Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws Attend all mandatory training, meeting & events Embrace, implement, and promote continuous improvement ideas Competencies Demonstrate leadership skills, adaptability, flexibility and a positive attitude Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are a must – this is a leadership & customer-facing role Demonstrate full understanding of all subordinate roles & meet those competencies Deep understanding of existing resource locations in current territory (donation, recycling & disposal centers) and ability to identify, assess and implement relationships with new resources as needed Full understanding truck operation, maintenance, and care Exhibit a strong safety attitude & be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policies Confident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to management Ability to influence and lead team(s) in field, maintaining positive working relationships Job requirements Ability to work full time and be accessible for emergency contacts after hours Obtain & maintain valid FL C-class drivers license and an acceptable motor vehicle record Supply own mobile phone (company will provide tablets for on-the-job duties) Pass background check & drug screen Ability to lift 75 lbs.
