Seeking a Grounds Maintenance associate to join the team for an Apartment Community located in Fredericksburg, VA! The schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm The Porter understands and can work independently to maintain meticulous cleanliness of grounds, common areas, stairwells, hallways, models, offices, and recreation areas. Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate an awareness of personal strengths, areas for improvement and act independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge. Ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong competencies and relationship skills as follows: Trash pick-up daily Clean trash area daily Pull weeds weekly Sweep halls at least once a week Sweep curbs twice a week Check hall lights once a week Water grounds every day in season Check in and out for lunch, leaving property, etc. Vacuum/rake leaves as needed Help clean common areas, apartments when needed Help with maintenance as needed Assist and support Maintenance Supervisor as requested Job Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish) Must have personal/reliable transportation to get to work Previous multifamily or commercial property cleaning experience is preferred Ability to lift 30lb, perform pushing, pulling, and climbing activities *Note: All candidates will be background screened and must be eligible to work in the United States. **Equal Opportunity Employer ***Employee must follow Covid-19 guidelines
