9/11 Freedom Fest and Tribute featuring Don McLean with guests the Gatlin Brothers, Keith Anderson, and Trey Taylor!
The 9/11 Freedom Fest and Tribute is an event to honor and pay tribute to the victims whose lives were lost in that fateful event 20 years ago, to the first responders who immediately jumped into rescue-mode and raced to help when the Towers and the Pentagon were hit, and to veterans who have continuously fought for our liberties. Keepers of Liberty and the Warrior Healing Center are collaborating to put on this event to bring together the Cochise County community in the spirit of remembrance and solidarity as we celebrate our freedom. The event will run from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm at Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, September 11, 2021, and will include a fun day full of musical artists on stage, a beer garden where local wineries and microbreweries will share their wares, a car show, a corn hole tournament and other exciting events.
The world changed on September 11, 2001. Americans responded to the worst attack in history on American soil by coming together as a nation in solidarity. Americans showed compassion for one another and connected with their neighbors. Charities, foundations and organizations were created to provide for the survivors and families, and to honor the memories of the victims. Communities focused on supporting the survivors and our first responders. Americans are creative and resilient. This event will celebrate the freedom purchased by the sacrifices of our armed forces, law enforcement and emergency first responders.
