Assist in maintaining school buildings and grounds in top condition. Assist in promoting the safety, health, and comfort of students and employees in school buildings and grounds. Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenance and repair projects. Duties of this job include, but are not limited to: Job Responsibilities ▪ Maintenance of equipment ▪ Maintenance of facilities such as playgrounds, walkways, and interior spaces ▪ Planning and implementation of routine facility maintenance ▪ Minor repairs of equipment, building, and overall facility ▪ Additional related tasks as assigned _____________________________________________________________ Skills/Qualifications: ● Excellent interpersonal skills ● Effective oral and written communication skills ● Ability to plan and prioritize work and time ● Ability to react and move quickly ● Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality ● Excellent organizational skills ● Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner ● Ability to have fun working with preschool – middle school children ● Be able to work in a school and childcare environment Qualifications: ● Three years of maintenance experience ● Ability to pass State of Washington background checks
