Gold Sprint Intro To Sewing Class Do you have a sewing machine laying around that you'd love to use but have no idea how? Would you love to be able to hem your own pants? Have you ever ridden your bicycle but wished you had a way to carry your phone and wallet? If you answered yes to any of these, this is the class for you! This class will teach you the basics to using a sewing machine, from loading your bobbins to basic stitches. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY Our project for class is a small burrito bag that mounts on your bicycle handlebars and lets you carry all your essentials on short rides. It's a good gateway project towards making more complicated bags or simpler projects like basic clothing alterations. We provide all the materials, personal intruction, and sewing machines to use during class. If you have your own machine, you are welcome to bring it but we will have several in class to use.
