Description
We have a job lasting from 6/25 through 7/12. We will work 10 to 12 hours each day in a manufacturing plant. Pay is $16hr with overtime after 40 hr a week.
Part time weekend work will continue one weekend a month but could turn into more.
Job Description
This job requires the applicant to help lead technicians with the installation of low voltage cabling systems in commercial environments. The systems we install transport signals for voice, data, wireless and security cameras. No experience required. We will teach you on the job while working alongside one of our Technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installation of low voltage cabling, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Install pathway for low voltage systems to include cable tray, j-hooks and sleeves for firewall penetrations.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools associated with the installation of low voltage systems a plus.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds and lifts to install, maintain or repair low voltage cabling, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as installing large copper cables and moving and lifting heavy objects up to 50lbs or more.
• Must be able to distinguish between different colors and possess manual dexterity to complete fine motor tasks.
• Test and furnish documentation using Fluke equipment.
Education, Experience and other requirements:
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen and background check.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
