Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Moriah Tyler 06/21/2021 The Carroll County Arts Council recently awarded 7 high school seniors a $1,000 college scholarship to pursue a college degree in the arts. The Tevis College Arts Scholarships are awarded in memory of one of this community's most passionate patrons of the arts, Dottie Tevis. Dottie understood the value of arts education and she was committed to nurturing artists for the future. The Arts Council is proud to honor Dottie's memory in a way that will help young artists achieve their educational goals.
