The Darien Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization, is hiring for the President-Executive Director Role. This position works alongside the Business Manager who handles the back-end of the organization. The President-Executive Director is the “Face” of the Chamber working closely with Chamber members, local government officials, other non-profit organizations and the community at large. The position is salaried, 30-35 hours per week with a flexible work schedule. Candidate needs to be a team player, able to work independently, reliable, strategic, and comfortable speaking in public. Event coordination and social media knowledge a must. Candidate must also enjoy working with a diversified Chamber membership and getting involved with the Chamber events.
