Bassist looking for musicians

Hello. I’m a 41 year old experienced bass guitar player who’s played in indie bands around town as well as some jazz combos and avant garde groups. I’m itching to start up something deep and groove oriented but melodic, and possibly instrumental. Some of my favorite groups of the past few years are Khruangbin, Dawn of Midi and Sons of Kemet. I also love the feel of early 70s stuff Miles Davis, Can and Joe Zawinul. I’m more into hypnotic textures and riffs than intricate solos and chord changes. I’m solid on fretted or fretless bass, but generally avoid bass solos. Also good at creating loops on Ableton if we want to incorporate that kind of thing. Seeking drums, a beatboxer or percussion and some sort of melody instrument to get going — maybe guitar or electric piano, or maybe something more unusual like a bass clarinet. Would love to rehearse and play some shows, and hopefully make some recordings.
